Copenhagen school records in the archives
Copenhagen City Hall is where the school archives are kept
note the wimpel or pennant used to dress the flag pole.
I searched the school nearest to their home Nørrevoldgade
(North-Wall-street) number 38 where Gottlieb, RM handskemager is listed from 1896 to 1900
each pupil was allocated a number and written up on that page when they go in or out of the school
there was also a register or index but not any sign of the Gottlieb brothers
